As we have seen in the few years of the Trump Presidency, the left wing mob has been the driver and shaker of Democratic policies. While polling shows that issues such as sanctuary status is a vast negative amongst the general public, the Democrats have adopted that policy due to the protestations of the “mob”. Other policies have followed such as releasing illegals who have committed crimes, turning our urban centers into toilets and drug dens, providing free health care for those here illegally, etc.
Other phenomena have been born and raised under the tutelage of the mob-rule left. They include shouting down conservative speakers, accosting those with other views and forcing them to leave the public square and denying other points of view under the guise of “limiting hate speech”. All policies policed by the actions of the liberal mob.
And now we have impeachment. The liberal “mob” demands it. There has been no evidentiary proof submitted. There has been no first hand account of any crime being committed. There has been no victim identified. In a court of law, the case would never have been filed let alone tried under the rules of evidence. Yet, we see the process move forward – the liberal “Mob” demands it!
About 2,000 years ago, the governor of Judea stood before such a mob. That mob, like the one we see today, had been lied to by their elitist church leaders. The church leaders saw a poor prophet as a threat to their position – something had to be done. The prophet was then falsely accused of calling himself the “King of the Jews” and inferring that he was the Son of God. “Heretic” the power hungry leaders of the Church cried, whipping the mob into an emotional frenzy.
The prophet stood next to the thief as the Governor of Judea promised to set free whomever the angry mob chose. “Crucify Him” shrieked the mob when the prophet was brought forth. “Set him free” was the decision when the thief was presented.
The events of the last month are in no way comparable to the events of that day almost 2,000 years ago. But it is consistent of the outcome when the mob controls the process and wiser men are absent from the process. Am I saying Trump is akin to Jesus and Biden to Barabbas? No, I am not. Yet, the process has been the same – Trump being publicly crucified by the left and Biden being exempted from scrutiny seems to be a parallel that is unmistakable.
